He must!

I know He has a plan...... He must.
I am His......... right?
He made me.......... right?
He still cares and is still my safety, my armor!
When the bills go unpaid and
there is the threat of loosing our home........... I will be content.
I will be joyful!
I am Joyful! Thank you Lord!

Even though the fig trees are all destroyed, and there is neither blossom left nor fruit, and though the olive crops all fail, and the fields lie barren; even if the flocks die in the fields and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will be happy in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17 & 18 nlt

I will wait........on him
on him who makes my heart sing
on him who sets the captives free.

we are captive.

It is so easy to become captive to worry and anxiety.
To ever being the "I can fix it" person.

But only he can fix it.
These things are to much for me, for us.
We need Him and the miracles that only He can provide.
He has promises I am resting in.

What a glorious Lord! He who daily bears our burdens also gives us our salvation.
 Psalm 68:19 & 20 nlt
We may not be able to keep our house.....but does that mean God has not been faithful to His promises? Does that mean He does not love us?
 Certainly NOT!
Remember!  HE is the promise. Not the circumstances we find ourselves in. Our gift from him is HIMSELF and eternity with him.
What a joy!
I am thrilled that I get the chance to share with my children in such a tangible way the joy of knowing Christ in the midst of difficult times.
This is nothing! Things can always get worse. (here on earth)
Compared to what life would be like if we didn't have Him; I can't even comprehend.

Thank you again Lord for joy, and the peace and contentment that can only come from You.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
John 10:10 esv

I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family.

He is so good and faithful.

We have until the end of the month (so I have been told) to either come up with the full amount we owe to reinstate our mortgage loan and have enough sustainable income for the mortgage company to modify our current loan or they will sell this house out from under us April 13th.

hmmmm...........God knows.

I do not need to worry.

He feeds the birds of the air and clothes the flowers of the fields.
How much more does he love us?!?

We will live.

We will have somewhere to lay the heads of all these little ones He has blessed us with.

Where?

That is the question.

  2. I jumped over here from Ann's site. Thanks for these faithful words. I needed to hear them. I'm not in the same situation but just trying to figure out what he is doing. Choosing to be joyful in all circumstances. Thanks for doing that here. Praying for you and your family in these next weeks. God is faithful no matter what our circumstances are. May there be joy for you each day to count and share with your children!

  3. Dave and I have been praying for you guys and about what else the Lord might be leading us to help with. If you need to move to Oregon, you can all live with us until you find a place :D It's not instant money (if any at all-lol) but have you ever thought of planting a church? Chris is already leading a small congregation.... It's just something that popped into my head. Love you guys!

    1. Wow! Thanks Wendy. You guys are awesome! We will keep that in mind. We loved having you all here sleeping everywhere there was room all those years ago; I hope we can do it all again soon. Hopefully not under these circumstances. :-)

  4. I found you thru your friend's blog (having a hallelujah good time) thru a link-up at the wiegands today. I don't know either of you but wanted to say I am praying for you. Been praying a lot about financial needs myself lately...will pray for God to richly supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory through Christ Jesus. May His blessings overwhelm you!
