A Letter for you, My Love

Day 21
Lord, through all the generations you have been our home! Before the mountains were created, before the earth was formed, you are God without beginning or end.
Psalm 90:1-2 (NLT)

Honey, I trust you, I have confidence in you. I know that as you look to God for direction He will give you the answer to our prayers. God is faithful. Look at all He has done for us already! All the ways He has shown His love and care for us, even in the little things.

Lord, how I love you! For you have done such tremendous things for me.
Psalm 18:1 (NLT)

He has not fogotten you. He knows where you are in this big country and He knows how much you miss us. He knows how badly you want to be involved in your children's lives..... He gave them to you and I believe that He has also given you the desire to be present with them so you can pour into their lives and help guide them to a strong walk with Christ.

I will not forget you. I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.
Isaiah 49:15-16 (ESV)

You are being faithful, as is your spiritual gift. I will follow you. You say the word, and I will go anywhere you ask me. I know you are trusting Christ for His guidance and direction.
Keep doing that!
Keep seeking Him, in prayer and fasting....... even now while you are away.

You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 29:13-14 (NKJV)

I believe God is teaching you something important through this experience. I know He has been teaching me!

But, we are different, you and I.

I can't tell you what His purpose is for you in this. I can only encourage you to ask Him. Lay yourself at His feet and ask Him to pick you over with a fine toothed comb. Ask Him to rid you of everything, every attitude, any pride, any sin, seen or unseen that may be fogging your vision.

The Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7 (ESV)

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
Psalm 139:23 (ESV)

God has consistently through our life together brought us through very hard situations that have stretched you and grown you. He wants ALL of you!

He wants you to rid yourself of every preconceived idea of who you think you are and what you think you are capable of...so that He can lead you and mold you into who He wants you to be!

He is melting you in this flame so that you become puddy in His hands....

Soft and smushy,

warm and willing,

ready and able to do all He has planned for you.

I am so excited for you and for us!

Every day I have watched you.....

...and each day has been better than the day before.

You have grown spiritually into the man of God our family needs.

But, God is not done yet!

He is not done with any of us.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV)

I love you. I am praying for you, constantly. You are wonderful and precious to me. I can't wait to be with you again.
